Maxtec is committed to always offering the highest quality products available. There are times when customers want to have an extra sense of security. Therefore, Maxtec has recognized the need to establish a protection plan for the Minolta Pulsox-2.
With its small size, quality features and portability the Pulsox-2 there can be a temptation to "disappear" by theft or loss. The Minolta Pulsox-2 was designed and built to endure the most demanding environments. However, it can occasionally be accidentally damaged.
Maxtec offers the Maxtec Protection Plan (MPP) included with every Pulsox-2 purchased beginning November 1, 2003. This added protection comes at no additional charge to the end user. The MPP is effective for 24 months from the date of invoice.
With the purchase of a Pulsox-2 you will receive a registration form. It should be completed and returned, or faxed back to Maxtec within 30 days after receiving your unit. The Protection Plan offers extended coverage of the following:
- Should your Pulsox-2 fail due to workmanship within 24 months of its original purchase, it will be repaired or replaced at no charge under Minolta's factory warranty.
- Should your Pulsox-2 be lost or stolen within 24 months of your purchase, you may forward a claim to Maxtec for approval along with your original invoice. Once approved by Maxtec, you will have the opportunity to purchase a brand new replacement unit for $200.00.
- Should you damage your Pulsox-2 within 24 months of your purchase, you can return the damaged unit to Maxtec and purchase a new replacement unit for $175.00.
To participate in the MPP, the unit must be registered under the Maxtec Protection Plan, and be no older than 24 months since the invoice date of the original purchase. To register for the Maxtec Pulsox-2 Protection Plan, please click here
Once the claim form has been completed, submit it to Maxtec for approval. Upon approval, Maxtec will ship and invoice your replacement P-2. This policy allows only one Pulsox-2 replacement for each original purchased. You will not be eligible to claim a second unit if the replacement unit is lost, stolen or damaged.
